Have you ever tried to use your iPhone wirelessly as a Continuity Camera with your Mac Mini, but it just wouldn’t work? You’re not alone. Many people have encountered issues with the feature, including myself.

As someone who has used a MacBook Pro as a daily driver for 11 years, I recently made the switch to a Mac mini with an M2 processor. Everything was going smoothly until I tried to use the Continuity Camera feature with my iPhone wirelessly. It just wouldn’t work, although it worked fine with a lightning cable.

After some Google searches, I discovered that many others were facing similar issues. As this feature was important to me, I decided to call Apple support for assistance. After an hour-long discussion with a senior representative and several attempts at reinstalling Mac OS and resetting iOS, nothing worked.

However, the senior advisor was persistent in finding a solution and eventually reached out to the software team. They came up with a set of instructions that finally got the Continuity Camera working wirelessly with my Mac mini.
